Artezan is the first Polish craft brewery opened by homebrewers. Three friends – Dariusz Doroszkiewicz (Darko), Jacek Materski (Hasintus) and Piotr Wypych (Coder). All of them are well known in the Polish homebrewers community, they are members of Polish Homebrewers Association (PSPD), certified by PSPD beer judges. Coder is also beer journalist in Piwowar (The Brewer) – PSPD magazine for homebrewers. Darko has worked as a brewmaster at Pivovaria – brewpub in Radom. They started to make their dream come true about one and a half year ago. Such a long time took completing hardware and first of all formalities, formalities and… formalities.
Brewery is located in Natolin near Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Brewhouse has 5,5hl of capacity. At the beginning Artezan will sell beer only in kegs. 2nd June was brewed the first batch – witbier. You can taste it for the first time at Festival Birofilia.
Here you can see photos from the first brew. We have great expectations and I wish Artezan all the best. We’ll be in contact and we’ll give you the freshest news about Artezan.
